Position: Contaminated Sites Manager
Location: North Vancouver Office (431 Mountain Hwy)
Position Status: Full time
Full Time Benefits Including Dental and Extended Health
Salary $105,000-$138,000 depending upon experience and qualifications

We are looking for a licensed Qualified Environmental Professional, with a minimum of 8 years of experience with contaminated sites investigation projects in British Columbia. The ideal person for this role is self-driven, engaged, and interested in leading and growing our environmental consulting team. Growth opportunities for someone in this role the potential for business partnership or profit-sharing. This position is based out of our North Vancouver Office, with a small portion of scope to include travel within Canada for client/site visits or field inspections.
Key skills for this role include:
· Team leadership experience, including; manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely completion of projects
· Site Investigations (Stage 1, Stage 2, Detailed Site Investigations)
· Remediation planning and implementation
· Ministry and CSAP liaison
· Team management, report preparation and field planning
· Analytical data interpretation
· Technical knowledge of contamination fate and transport
· Superior knowledge of British Columbia environmental legislation, contaminated sites regulations, codes and standards
· Proficient at report writing and data analysis

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

Valid driver’s license in Canada with a Clean Driver’s abstract and personal vehicle (non-negotiable)

Requirements
One of the following:
· Professional Engineer or Licensee– Registered and in Good Standing with Engineers and Geoscientists BC or other Canadian Province.
· Professional Agrologist: Registered and in good standing with BC Institute of Agrologists, with registered scope of practice in contaminated sites.
· Registered Professional Biologist: Registered and in good standing with BC College of Applied Biologists with scope of practice in contaminated sites.
· 8 Years or more on the job experience, and knowledge of local and provincial Contaminated Sites rules and regulations (no exceptions).
· Undergraduate degree in applied science or technology in an applicable field (no exceptions).
